Q.What does the Worcester Bosch 12-year guarantee actually cover?

As a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, Roost can register a manufacturer's guarantee of up to 12 years' parts and labour on a new Greenstar boiler when we supply and fit it. It covers the boiler for that period, subject to an annual service to keep it valid — which we can carry out for you each year, or fold into a Boiler Care Plan. Only accredited installers are able to offer this length of cover.

Q.Can you handle the £7,500 heat pump grant?

Yes. Because we're MCS certified, we can design and install an MCS-compliant air source heat pump and claim the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant on your behalf — we handle the full application and paperwork, so the grant comes off your quote rather than being something you have to chase. A well-designed heat pump runs at up to 400% efficiency, even in a Hampshire winter.

Q.Are your engineers actually your own staff?

Yes — and it matters. Every engineer who comes to your home is a directly employed member of the Roost team and DBS-checked. We never send subcontractors. That's why the same names — Christian, Max, Aidan, Jack — come up again and again in our reviews, and why customers build up a rapport with the person who services their boiler year after year.

Q.Do you offer a boiler care plan?

We do. Roost Boiler Care Plans start from £9.50 a month and include your annual service and priority call-out. You can bolt on cover for boiler repair, wider system repair or a cylinder service. We also run a Landlord Boiler Service Plan for rental properties and a Heat Pump Service Plan for air source heat pump owners.

Q.Do you install air conditioning and smart controls?

Yes. We supply and fit energy-efficient air conditioning by Worcester Bosch, Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric — from around £1,500 for a single room to £3,000+ for whole-home, with up to a 7-year warranty, HEPA filtration and smartphone control. As a Nest Pro Elite Installer we also fit and commission smart controls including Nest, Tado, Hive, Honeywell Evohome and Heatmiser NeoStat.

Q.Do you do landlord gas safety certificates?

Yes. Our Gas Safe registered engineers issue CP12 landlord gas safety certificates for landlords and letting agents across Hampshire, and we can wrap annual compliance servicing into a Landlord Boiler Service Plan so nothing lapses. Homeowners who want a safety check can have a CP12 too.

Q.What are your opening hours, and where are you based?
